Hey all,
Get excited: My good friends Asif Siddiky and Paul Owens (of 2 Player Productions) have gotten their documentary film, Blip Festival: Reformat the Planet, onto Pitchfork TV. The film is in their "One Week Only" section and WILL ONLY SCREEN UNTIL Thursday Aug 21st. Watch now or regret later!

What you need to know:
1) The film screened at this year's SXSW festival.
2) It is about the thriving Chiptune scene.
3) Chiptune musicians retool Gameboys and other classic video game hardware into musical instruments -- a punky DIY recasting of gaming technology into a mode of creative expression.
4) I caught some of these musicians a few months ago in NYC. They rip live. The audiences are friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic. No hipster ennui.
