Beck seems to be having fun in his studio lately, what with his recent commitment to covering the entirety of Velvet Underground and Nico, the recently completed work he did with Charlotte Gainsbourg, and now this 40-minute mini-mix. 642-642 EX0-101 642-845 000-330

The Gainsbourg full-length, which apparently Beck produced and played on, is, we were told over dinner by someone who's heard it, a strange, thick, beautifully surreal pop album. Gainbourg's MySpace page offers this information: "The album is scheduled for November 2009. It will feature at least 11 songs, titles including "In The End", "Heaven Can Wait" and "Master Hand."
